Sketches, Blueprints, Scrap Maps - a scrapbooker's best friend!

Sketches or Blueprints or Scrap Maps have got to be a scrapbooker's best friend! So many times when I am stuck on a Layout I pull out a sketch book and find something I can do! If you have a lot of pictures that you want to put on a page; sketches will give you help as to what to do. I love my sketch books! If you haven't started using sketches for your layouts maybe consider trying it. They are a great resource to end scrapper's block.

Sketches are not pages you copy - they are templates that work with you. You can change the template by rotating the page you are looking at. There are no "out of style" papers in the sketch since it's a black and white sketch! There are no trends to follow. A sketch book is a timeless piece you can add to your scrapbook stash since it won't go out of style.

When using a sketch book you should be able to complete more pages than usual since the layout is planned for you. All you need to do it pick out the sketch you want to work with, the papers and embellishments.
